The article that I published last week, ‘Finding Your Mate‘, had another title at first – ‘The Power of Intention’. What I realized upon reflection was that regardless of what title I used I needed to spend more time drawing a parallel to achieving business or revenue goals.
While I did say that the lists my wife and I created allowed us to find our near-perfect partner based on my quote it’s a “Team Sport, not a Solo Sport” – it lacked the direct implication in business.
So here is the direct implication:
Writing down precisely and explicitly what you want to achieve allows you to manifest it. This is true whether in your personal life, business life, or even your spiritual life.

For decades I’ve been teaching how to apply the S.M.A.R.T. goal process to anything you want to manifest. It’s sort of the Law of Attraction meets reality.
A funny thing about the law of attraction; it has in it the very requirement that many people miss. Attraction the word ‘action” in it.
There is no goal I’ve found that can be achieved or manifest without action. In searching for my perfect mate I had a written list of attributes AND I searched online and set up meetings (dates) to see how closely someone matched my list.
My wife and I just celebrated 23 years together, and 22 years of marriage.
When I wanted to write a book I spoke to people who could lead me to successful authors. I spoke to those authors who educated me on what to do, and how to do it. I ended up with an award-winning, best-selling book that’s been translated into eight languages.
When I wanted to own my own pension administration company I found two partners. We built a company we were able to sell to a public company. That created my first opportunity to choose to work, instead of having to work.
The point is: You can manifest whatever you want in your life as long as you are specific with your written goals, and you let others support you in the achievement.
Of course, it’s another matter if you don’t believe in yourself. But even that can be fixed.
To Your Prosperity,
Rennie
